Connected By Community

Learning happens everywhere.

At Maple Elementary, community is the foundation of everything we do. We are a small neighborhood school where students are known, families are welcomed, and relationships matter.

Inclusion is not a program at Maple. It is a daily practice shaped by kindness, collaboration, and shared experiences. Students learn alongside peers of different ages, support one another in meaningful ways, and build leadership through connection.

Our outdoor learning spaces and campus gatherings create natural opportunities for students to work together, solve problems, and grow in confidence. When students learn in community, they develop empathy, responsibility, and a strong sense of belonging.

At Maple, we are connected to one another, connected to our neighborhood, and connected to the world around us.

Where Learning Lives Outdoors

At Maple Elementary, learning extends beyond four walls. Guided by our vision we intentionally design experiences that are active, hands-on, and grounded in the real world.

Students spend meaningful time outdoors every day engaging in nature-based learning, environmental exploration, movement, creative expression, and collaborative problem-solving. Our campus becomes a living classroom — from our outdoor learning spaces and pollinator garden to our open green areas where curiosity and discovery unfold naturally.

Kindness, Acceptance & Inclusion: Outdoors and Beyond

At Maple Elementary, we believe that learning thrives in an environment rooted in kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. Our students learn not only inside the classroom, but throughout our campus, in our outdoor learning spaces, gardens, and shared community areas, where collaboration and empathy grow naturally.

A Culture of Community

At Maple Elementary, community is not just something we talk about. It is something we intentionally build every day.

As a small neighborhood school, we believe strong relationships are the foundation for meaningful learning. Students learn alongside peers of different ages, collaborate across classrooms, and participate in shared experiences that strengthen empathy, leadership, and belonging.
