About Us
We choose kindness. We include others. All are welcome here.
Maple Elementary School envisions a joyful, inclusive learning community where every student is known, valued, and supported as a whole child. Kindness, acceptance, and belonging are at the heart of our school culture. We believe schools are strongest when students, families, and staff feel connected and welcomed. At Maple, inclusion is not a program. It is a shared commitment that shapes how we learn, work, and grow together.
Guided by our mission to develop socially conscious student leaders and independent learners, Maple is committed to learning experiences that are meaningful and engaging. Students are encouraged to ask questions, collaborate with others, and make sense of the world around them. Learning is active and purposeful. It is designed to help students build confidence, curiosity, and a sense of ownership in their learning.
Strong relationships and thoughtful planning allow all students to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Equity and access guide our decisions. We want students to feel capable and supported while also being challenged to think deeply and act with care. Our vision is for every Maple student to leave with confidence in themselves, compassion for others, and a responsibility to their community. These are the foundations that prepare them for the next steps in their learning and in life.
