Principal's Message

Dear Maple Elementary Families,

My name is Meghann O'Weger, and I am incredibly honored to serve as the principal of Maple Elementary School. I have been a proud member of the Conejo Valley Unified School District since 2016, beginning as a Special Education teacher and later serving as an administrator. As a parent of four CVUSD students and a graduate of CVUSD myself, along with my husband and even my parents, I know firsthand the strength of this community and the value of the education it provides.

At Maple, we are building a joyful and inclusive learning community where every student is known, valued, and supported as a whole child. Guided by our schoolwide learning model, Where Learning Lives Outdoors, we are creating meaningful opportunities for students to learn through hands-on experiences, outdoor exploration, and thoughtful, low-technology practices that encourage curiosity, confidence, and connection.

I am passionate about building strong relationships, fostering a supportive school culture, and working alongside families and staff to help every student thrive. I look forward to partnering with you as we continue to grow Maple's unique identity and create experiences that inspire students to explore the world around them.
