Volunteer Opportunities

We couldn't do all the wonderful things we do at Maple without our volunteers. Families, grandparents, and community members generously share their time, talents, and expertise to support our students, staff, and programs. Their contributions make a tremendous difference, and we are always excited to welcome new volunteers to our school community.

There are many ways to get involved, including:

• Classroom volunteer opportunities (see your child's teacher or sign up during Back to School Night)
• Library support
• Thursday packet preparation
• Maple PFA and special events
• School Site Council
• Committee membership
• Fundraising efforts
• Grant writing
• Science Lab support
• Outdoor Classroom and Garden projects

Whether you have an hour a month or are looking for a more regular commitment, there is a place for you at Maple. Every volunteer helps create the welcoming, enriching environment that makes our school so special.

TB Test and Confidentiality


We love to have volunteers at Maple! We just ask that you do a couple of things first. Before volunteering, you will need to:

1. Get a TB test clearance, which is good for 4 years.
2. Sign a confidentiality agreement which is available in the office.

For a low cost TB test, you can visit Thousand Oaks Urgent Care Center & Family Practice located at 620 E. Janss Rd. in Thousand Oaks. TB tests are $25.
